Excellent for marine use
Insulation and tinned wires are perfect for a boat or any other application where corrosion might be a concern.

If you are hooking up speakers outside USE TINNED WIRE (Like this)
This is the third time I have rewired my outdoor speakers. First time was with direct burial outdoor cable (wasn’t tinned and the wire turned to powder). Second time used what the seller said was marine grade cable (wasn’t tinned and the wire turned to powder). So, this time I payed a little more (but still reasonable) and got “Tinned Wire”. Now, “what is tinned wire you say?” Each strand of wire in the cable is coated with a very thin coating of solder. This doesn’t react to the elements like copper does. You can help further by waterproofing your connections, but the tinning helps a lot. This is good quality wire and seems to be working well.
