Strong insulation, wire is standard 16ga braided, colored insulation makes connecting much easier than other ribbed or lightly colored wire. Would recommend.
I have been dealing with crackling speakers thinking it was speakers I bought a new set eventually these speakers started sound like my old speakers so I decided to try new wires. What a humongous difference in tone quality. If I would have only done this year’s earlier. I went to big box stores to find out that this amount of wire was quite a bit higher. I took a chance it paid off.
