The wire was shipped exactly as pictured. Quite heavy, by the way.
The quality of the jacket is quite excellent. The pre-tinned copper is easy to work with. I’m 100% pleased with the purchase. Five stars.

One of the better wire products I've seen
OFC, Tinned Copper, Softflex, 16AWG, Marine grade speaker wire… all true with the wire I received… yes, I’ma little shocked to be honest. Super nice flexibility without heavy kinking- it recovers if you need it to. It’s simply a well manufactured spool of two-conductor stranded wire.
This, imho, is one of the better quality wires I’ve seen on Amazon for marine use. You always get what you pay for. In this case, you get quality.
My hope is that quality control keeps this grade of manufacturing level up. Worthy of recommendation for fresh-water marine use. Not certain if this will hold up to seafaring vessels, but definately fresh water. Perhaps another reviewer will comment on that application.

Great Speaker Wire - very durable
I used this wire while building my outdoor patio, and it worked so well I decided to add more speakers to my setup. Coating is very well made and doesn’t pinch, sound quality and carry strength is what you would get from any higher cost name brand. Easy to strip and connect.

Good cable.
I can’t really fault this wire. Its soft, flexible, and easily worked. And it’s got a cool blue/white color which makes a build look a bit more premium.

Looks like quality wire
I got this for some fairly long runs back to my surround speakers and so far they sound good and should last a long time. The wire inside is not too stiff or not to soft so putting the ends on was no problem. No wild wires here.

Good quality speaker wire for marine applications.
I used this wire to install new speakers on my boat and I’m happy with the quality of the product. The wire made of copper, not aluminum like cheaper wire, and it is tinned to make it resistant to corrosion which is especially important when you’re going to be operating in saltwater. Also the wire insulation jacket is flexible and appears to be of good quality. After installation the speakers worked great. I could detect no unwanted noise. I can definitely recommend this high quality speaker wire.

Perfect for that marine boat stereo upgrade.
I’ve always believed your stereo system is only as good as the weakest part. When dealing with the elements, electronics and wiring take a hit. After time wiring will become brittle and resistance will increase as conductivity decreases. I’m getting ready to upgrade the stereo system in my boat and that includes all wiring, speakers, antenna and of course the head unit. This 14awg wire will do the job perfectly. For longer runs, it’s always best to go with a larger wire. Most speaker wire is 16awg and does not offer protection from the elements. I wanted something that sounds great and passes the test of time. The copper is protected and the coating is thick yet pliable. I can’t see any negative points, all positive.

Nice audio wire
This is great audio wire. The the jacket on this wire is especially impressive, due to it’s flexibility and ease of stripping. Overall a solid value for a quality product.

Good all-copper wire, tinned for marine use
There’s not a lot you can say about wire, but this is 100% copper wire, no CCA here. It is tinned, so it won’t turn green and corrode in salt air. It has fine strands (60+), and it takes solder like a sponge. It is 16 gauge, which will run enough speaker watts to blow you right off of anything smaller than a yacht. The jacket is clear PVC with a satin finish, and the wires are pretty well centered in the jacket. This stuff is a steal at $25 and I won’t hesistate to buy more of it from Install Link.

hubby
My hubby is an engineer, I call him my super handyman. He likes to jump on my account because I have the amazon membership so he gets the free shipping. Grins, men. He will spend hours looking for items he needs. All the items he buys in the end work out great.

Pray it doesn’t corrode and it’s real marine proof
If it doesn’t corrode on the boat I will say it’s the best but it takes one good season to know that ,give it till spring of 2024 I can really rate it then
