    Very nice!

This is some very nice speaker wire, especially the sleeving. It’s a very nice feeling and soft yet strong. The wire is actually a bit thicker than it says and I can’t hear ANY added noise. The branding feels complete and the spool even had the logo in the plastic. It came with a cool-looking sticker that has a small QR code you can scan to find the brand, very clever. I’m happy with it.

    Works great with banana clips.

This review is for 10 AWG Gauge Speaker Wire Cable (50 Feet) Stereo, Car or Home Theater, CCA. Delivered on time and in perfect condition from Amazon.

This wire is CCA (copper clad aluminum) not pure copper but i works well in my home theater application. I did connect this wire to banana clips and it seems to be functioning well . recommended

Value. Shop and compare other 10 AWG. This is a buy.

InstallLink speaker wire Vine Review AWG and 50’ blue 10 AWG. When this 10 gauge became available for a Vine review, I wasn’t quite ready to deploy, but knew that this 50’ would be optimum due to it’s unique color of black and blue and it’s “soft flex” / “bendability”. (Bendable buddy?) And I did notice that the CCA is being used by the monsters these days, so this is still keeping up with the Joneses.

I haven’t acquired speaker wire in over 2 decades, but I needed something stout for a “Zone 2” run at some distance from the receiver for coming outdoor and or weather exposed events. Having this Zone 2 pair of speakers be “mobile” also sounded like smart future flexibility. (Have Zone2 Will Travel?) Sometimes using the bigger speakers, sometimes the outdoor weather tolerant speakers. I like to think ahead, and liked the idea of blue for the night time, the green for the day time, and the red as a last resort, or for permanent in wall/car use.

I like that this 10 AWG is so flexible to easily place in a temporary run that is safe. And it seems to “learn” it’s place. That is especially nice to lay out the line before taping. According to initial calculations I might have been able to get away with 14 AWG for the first event’s length, but the one size better rule meant 12 AWG. I succumbed to the bigger is better 10! (Tooltime fever?) (And I really have to question what would really require a 10 AWG in a car!! Huh? What? What’s that? 🙂

I unrolled the reel and measured the length and got so close to 50’ that it is easy to say I wasn’t stretching & straightening enough to get the missing 2 inches.

Compare prices on Amazon, this 50’ is a 5 star value. Some photos are blurry, but the point is to show the overall diameter of the wire and it’s sheathing, which should be clear. Should any problems arise in this use, as a Vine reviewer I guarantee, I’ll be back to dock.

Matte finished speaker wire..... is surprisingly useful in practical application!

The actual requirements to be a decent speaker wire are pretty easy to meet, and this wire does it fine. What makes it stand out is the finish on the insulation, oddly enough. It has a matte finish, which not only looks very nice, but actually has a very useful practical application – it doesnt stick to everything, which makes routing and especially pushing through tight places with other cables, MUCH easier. This alone makes it worth the price, which is MUCH better than branded alternatives from box stores. The ones that start with M.

That plus the nice colors make it ideal for both embedded/tight fit and open, visible wiring applications.

Its pretty much electrically transparent, reading the same per length as the “oxygen free directional premium” M cables I have, within margin of error.

soft and flexible and high quality

This is some serious speaker wire. Soft and flexible 10 gauge (which is quite thick!) Perfect for audiophile installations. A good value at the listed price.

Decent quality hookup wire, good for basic speaker hookups and small dc projects

Good value. Copper Clad Aluminum wire is just kind of a norm these days in the value class of low voltage speaker and hookup wire. While you need to make some derating adjustments for high amp projects versus solid copper, for most things, it can be used in place of solid copper without problems, with perhaps the exception of high oxidation environments because any exposed aluminum will do what oxidized aluminum is famous for. The jacket is flexible as seen in the video and low tendancy to kink. It is thick enough to ensure some rough handling but soft enough to cut and strip without difficulty. The reel is sturdy and handy for rack mounting and there are other color choices in this vendor’s line so you can work out color codes for multiple circuits.

    Does as intended

The wire covering is a bit thinner than other products I have used. However this still works exactly as needed and provides great sound.
